The project EU-NETS (EUropean traiNing for Energy communiTy犀利士 managerS) started on 1st February 2022. Its goal is to develop a new training path for managers and professionals that will work to create, develop and manage the energy communities, that will play an important role in the energy and climate transition.
The objective of EU-NETS project is to outline the characteristics and qualifications necessary to guarantee to the new professional profile, called energy community manager, the abilities, the skills and the competences to implement its duties and the optimal management of energy communities according to the EQF scheme.
EU-NETS project will be implemented in Italy, Greece and Spain, three Countries which present a similar scenario in terms of Energy Communities potential development and which has the same needs to support the creation of a professional figure able to manage this new entity.
The project is funded by the Erasmus+ program and will last three years with the cooperation of the following partners:
ASSISTAL (the coordinator) – the Italian business Association, created in 1946 and member of Confindustria, which represents companies specialized in the design, supply, installation, management and maintenance of technological systems, supply of Energy Efficiency Services (ESCo) and Facility Management (Italy)
EnergyLab – a technology centre specialised in energy efficiency and sustainability. It is a non-profit private entity set up on 2008 as an initiative of the industry, the Regional Government and the three universities of Galicia (Spain)
EUDITI – Energy and Environmental Design Ltd was founded in 2003 by leaders in the field of renewable energy and energy efficiency, for whom the promotion of renewable energy, energy saving technologies and the protection of natural resources is a life mission (Greece)
The University of A Coruña (UDC) – a public institution whose primary objective is the generation, management and dissemination of culture and scientific, technological and professional knowledge through the development of research and teaching (Spain)
NATIONAL TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY OF ATHENS – NTUA – the oldest and most prestigious Greek academic institution in the field of Technology and Engineering (Greece)
